Yes, Wartehalle is one of the most popular wedding venues in Berlin-Mitte. It offers a flexible setting for weddings of all sizes, from intimate celebrations with 50 guests to larger weddings with more than 150 guests.
With around 450 m² of indoor space, Wartehalle can accommodate up to 250 guests with banquet or mixed seating, or up to 350 guests for a standing reception.
Yes. Wartehalle is exclusively reserved for your wedding, so the entire venue is yours on your special day, including the approximately 200 m² outdoor area, which is ideal for your champagne reception.
With its history as the former reception building of the Stettiner Vorortbahnhof, its listed brick architecture and impressive 11-metre-high vaulted ceilings, Wartehalle is one of Berlin’s most distinctive wedding venues. The venue also offers comprehensive event services, with catering, bar and service all provided by one team.
Yes, absolutely. Wartehalle is ideal for summer parties thanks to its outdoor area, as well as Christmas parties, gala dinners, product presentations, award ceremonies and much more. A projector, screen, microphones, and professional lighting and sound equipment are already included in the all-inclusive package.
For formats requiring several separate workshop or breakout rooms, none of our three venues is the ideal fit, as Wartehalle, Wasserwerk and Deep are primarily designed around a large main space.
The exception is Deep, which offers two separate areas—the impressive Cathedral and our spectacular Concrete Cube.
This makes it suitable, for example, for table-based or workshop formats with two groups.
The best approach is to discuss your specific space requirements with us directly. We’ll be happy to advise you honestly on which of our venues is the best fit for your event.
Eventplace offers a diverse selection of three Berlin event venues: Deep (100 to 700 guests), Wasserwerk (100 to 600 guests), and Wartehalle (50 to 350 guests) for more intimate corporate celebrations with a historic atmosphere.
All three venues offer staff, an in-house kitchen, basic technical equipment and furniture from a single source.
Wartehalle is offered as an all-inclusive package, including venue rental, lighting and sound equipment, in-house catering (food and beverages), bar service, staff, furniture, a dedicated event manager as your personal point of contact, as well as setup and final cleaning.
Yes. You can choose the event duration flexibly in time blocks of 4, 6 or 8 hours, with the option to extend your event if needed.
For catering, you can choose between a set menu, buffet or flying finger food. Live cooking stations are available as an optional upgrade for an additional charge, as is an extended open bar.
Popular dates are often booked months in advance, so we recommend getting in touch as early as possible. However, last-minute bookings can sometimes be accommodated if a date has recently become available. Simply send us a non-binding inquiry, and we’ll let you know what’s available at short notice.
The easiest way to get in touch is via the contact form on our website, by email (info@wartehalle.berlin), or by phone (+49 30 280 46 101). Please include your preferred date, approximate number of guests and type of event.
A personal viewing of the venue can then be arranged at any time by appointment.
The all-inclusive package includes lighting, sound equipment, a projector, screen and microphones, as well as complete furniture and seating, including tables, high tables, lounge furniture and chairs. The approximately 200 m² outdoor area is also included.
Yes, both are included in the all-inclusive package. Our in-house catering offers a choice of menu, buffet or flying finger food, with live cooking stations available as an optional upgrade.
The bar includes Prosecco, a selection of wines, draft beer, soft drinks and coffee specialties.
Wartehalle is located at Julie-Wolfthorn-Straße 1, 10115 Berlin-Mitte, directly next to Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station (S1, S2, S25 and S26), close to the Natural History Museum and Berlin Central Station.
There are numerous parking options in the immediate vicinity, as well as a wide range of well-known hotels in different categories for guests travelling from outside Berlin.
All three venues have their own distinctive character: Deep as an underground column cathedral, Wasserwerk as a historic pumping station with a city garden, and Wartehalle as a listed brick hall with industrial charm.
What they all have in common is their all-inclusive concept, with everything provided by one experienced team.
